Space is limited & registration will close once a workshop is filled.
Great for those who are new to Pilates, want a refresher course, or need help w/ special modifications
Best for those who've completed Part 1 & have been practicing or already have prior Pilates mat experience
These 2-hour interactive workshops focus on learning the beginner and intermediate level Pilates mat exercises from the Classical repertoire as taught by Joe Pilates with some additions by his pupils.
The workshop will be very hands-on (in a virtual way), using a group "learn, do, share" format.
Recordings will be sent within 24 hours of the workshop event.
Angie will explain and demonstrate each exercise and then participants will be led through that exercise as Angie observes them, offering feedback, suggestions, or any modifications that might be needed.
👉 Note: For this workshop video, participants are required to have cameras "on" and will not be muted.
Each workshop includes a handout/syllabus, the workshop recording, and a class flow covering all exercises taught during the session as well as one month access to the exclusive New to Pilates Beginners Program.
Class size is limited to 8 participants.

Do I need any prior Pilates experience to do these workshops?
No!
If you don't have any Pilates experience, then the Part 1 (Beginner) Workshop is the one for you!
You will need to be able to get down to mat from standing & move from sitting to lying down on your stomach or back comfortably.
In Part 1, I will teach you all the basics & principles you need to start doing Pilates mat work from the ground up. You'll even be given any specific exercise modifications your body might need to help you feel successful - and begin to build core strength & control.
The Part 2 (Intermediate) Workshop assumes you do have Pilates mat experience. This workshop is best for those who did attend Part 1 and have been practicing their exercises regularly OR do have prior mat experience, especially with the beginner Classical mat exercises.
👉 If you have any concerns about registering for Part 2, please email Angie (angie@effloropilates.studio) before registering!

What does "Interactive Workshop" mean?
Here's what the process will be like...
1). Angie will explain an exercise &/or its purpose and then demonstrate the exercise & any modifications
2). Participants will then do the exercise themselves while Angie observes
3). Angie will give feedback and offer suggestions or modifications that might make the exercise more accessible for each individual
4). After one exercise has been covered, Angie will move on to the next exercise
5). Questions may be asked at anytime during the workshop!
Do I need any special equipment?
No, just an exercise mat, maybe a hand towel or two - plus your video streaming device!

Exercise mat (or two if extra padding is needed)
Video streaming device (Tablet, Laptop, Smart TV)
